It's official. I was able to kick off the ski season this morning with a little backcountry hike up on Berthoud Pass. Not a ton of snow, but enough to have fun making turns with friend Mark Obmasick.

This past weekend, Carri, Lucy and I got our first long hike of the season in. Starting at the top of Rollins Pass, within view of Winter Park, we trekked along the Continental Divide Trail.
